Related Posts in Blogger Blogspot

Realtrix has a very good hack on making Related Posts for blogger.com / blogspot. It works well. This is the simple way how to do it (visit Realtrix post for more details):

1. After login to your blogger.com -> layout -> Edit HTML -> Expand Widget Templates
2. Find the following code
<div class='post-body'> <p><data:post.body/></p> <div style='clear: both;'/>  </div>

3. Copy this code -> <div id='related_posts'/> and put it between
<p><data:post.body/></p> <div style='clear: both;'/>  </div>
and

<div class='post-footer'> (See the screenshot)

4. Copy this code (update 28 Nov 09) There’s a rule change, you have to get the following code along with a key, see the details here.
<script src='http://www.google.com/jsapi'/> <script src='http://brps.appspot.com/brps.js' type='text/javascript'/>
And put it precisely ABOVE </body> </html>

5. SAVE. Done.

NOTE: The position of code number 3 might differ from template to template. The point is you should put it so that it appears in single page (that is a page when you click a particular article or blog post), not in the frontpage / homepage of your blog. See the live demo here.

It’s nice post to share mas. Btw, is this relate post to our posting at our blog, or with another blog that have related with our post? Because I have ever used link launder in order to make a related post with another blogs, but it’s still doesn’t work proper at all? Thanks.

related posts ini untuk menampilkan post lain sesuai label, sepertinya bisa nampilin 10 post.

Salut untuk mas Fatih, bikin tutorial tetapi tidak mau menaruh link keblog ini, biasanya blog tutorial bikin widget terus kasih link ke blognya.

thanks infonya mas. saya selama ini agak bingung cara bikin relet post di blogspot. kalau di wordpress khan tinggal pasang plugin beres, tapi kalau blogspot sepertinya pertu pengetahuan teknis yang mendalam tentang hack html.

tapi menyenangkan , di blogspot, ngeblog jadi lebih FuNN !
