Batman’s The Dark Knight

Anyone could tell me why the fuss about Batman’s the Dark Knight?

… becoming the fastest film in history to break the 200-million-dollar barrier, industry analysts said Thursday.

Box-office tracker Exhibitor Relations said “The Dark Knight,” which enjoyed a record high opening in the United States and Canada last weekend, had netted 203.7 million dollars by Tuesday, with an additional 18 million dollars from screenings on Wednesday [...]


The previous fastest to hit the 200-million-dollar jackpot was 2004′s “Spider-Man 2,” which took eight days to reach the mark.

Even though I haven’t seen the movie, I like the sporty “SUV-like” motor bike.

    Pak Fatih. Dark Knight’s awesome!
    It’s not like those typical superhero flicks for kids, with robots shooting laser guns and some mutants doing aerial acrobats. It’s too dark for kids, in my opinion. And I quote Livedev.com:

    Instead of placing the sole emphasis of the movie on limitless special effects budgets, the writers of The Dark Knight brought out the storyline of the characters more than any other Batman movie. This allowed you to identify with the characters much better, pulling you in to the movie as opposed to being a spectator.

    What Batman currently used when there’s a distress call for help? is he still use that bat shape torch light aimed at the sky to attracts his attention?

    or now he is using Short Message Service – SMS?
