Blogger Custom Domain with CZ.CC

Suppose you have created a domain in CZ.CC and you wanted to integrate it with your blogger / blogspot. In another word, you want to keep hosting your blog in blogger.com, but want to use CZ.CC as the domain, instead of blogspot.com. This is called Blogger Custom Domain. This is possible and easy, but if you’re still confused about it here are the simple steps.

1. Login to your CZ.CC account, if you already have. If you don’t, create one here first.

2. In the CO.ZZ admin, click My Domains ->Manage -> Zone Records.
3. In the Host write “www”
4. In the Record Type choose CNAME
5. In the Content type “ghs.google.com”
6. In the TTL choose 1 Day; in the Priority choose 0
7. Click “Create Zone Records”. Done. See picture 1.

Now go to your blogger.com

1. Login to your blogger.com account
2. Click Setting -> Publishing -> Custom Domain
3. Click “Switch to advanced settings”
4. Enter your CZ.CC domain in Your Domain box.
5. Enter word verification and click Save Settings. Done. See picture 2.

Note:

If after all the settings are done and the new domain doesn’t work or unclickable, don’t panic. It needs time upto 24 hours.
