The Chief of Staff of the Turkish Army confirms the failure of the coup
قائد الأركان التركي بالوكالة يؤكد إفشال الانقلاب
Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat Turki menegaskan kegagalan kudeta
أعلن رئيس أركان الجيش التركي بالوكالة الجنرال أوميت دوندار إحباط المحاولة الانقلابية التي استهدفت الإطاحة بالنظام السياسي في البلاد, وأكد أن صفحة الانقلابات العسكرية بتركيا طُويت إلى الأبد, مشيرا في هذه الأثناء إلى مقتل نحو مئتين من العسكريين والمدنيين.
Chief of Staff of the Turkish army General Umit Dundar announced the thwarted coup attempt aimed at overthrowing the political system in the country, and stressed that the pages of military coups in Turkey wrapped up forever, noting in the meantime to the deaths of nearly two hundred military and civilian.
Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat Turki Jenderal Umit Dundar mengumumkan kegagalan upaya kudeta untuk menggulingkan sistem politik di negara itu, dan menekankan bahwa halaman kudeta militer di Turki ditutup selamanya, sambil mencatat bahwa dalam peristiwa ini terjadi kematian hampir dua ratus jiwa militer dan sipil.
وقال دوندار في مؤتمر صحفي بإسطنبول اليوم السبت، إن محاولة الانقلاب التي بدأت الليلة الماضية واستمرت حتى فجر اليوم نفذتها قوات من سلاح الجو وبعض قوات الأمن و”عناصر مدرعة”.
Dundar said at a news conference in Istanbul on Saturday, that the coup attempt, which began last night and continued until dawn today carried out by the forces of some of the security forces, air force and “armored elements.”
Dundar mengatakan pada konferensi pers di Istanbul, Sabtu, bahwa upaya kudeta, yang dimulai tadi malam dan berlanjut sampai fajar hari ini dilakukan oleh pasukan dari beberapa aparat keamanan, angkatan udara dan “elemen lapis baja.”
وأضاف أن من بين من شاركوا في المحاولة عسكريين من الجيش الأول -الذي يقوده دوندار- وأكد أن الانقلابيين اختطفوا عددا من الضباط ووضعوهم في مكان غير معلوم. وأشار في هذه الأثناء إلى أنه تم تخليص قائد الأركان خلوصي أكار وجميع ضباطه من قبضة الانقلابيين.
He added that among those who participated in the coup attempt are the first military, who are led by Dundar- and confirmed that the putschists have kidnapped a number of officers, and put them in an unknown location. He noted in the meantime that he was ridding the Chief of Staff Hulusi Acar and all his officers from the grip of the putschists.
Dia menambahkan bahwa di antara mereka yang berpartisipasi dalam upaya kudeta militer berasal dari kalangan pertama militer, yang dipimpin oleh Dundar. وفيما يتعلق بحصيلة ضحايا المحاولة الانقلابية, قال دوندار إن 104 انقلابيين قتلوا في المواجهات, كما قتل 41 شرطيا وجنديان و41 مدنيا في المواجهات والقصف الذي نفذه عسكريون متمردون على مقار سيادية وأمنية, وأشار إلى اعتقال أكثر من 1500 من المتمردين.
With regard to the outcome of the victims of the coup attempt, Dundar said that 104 revolutionaries were killed in the clashes, 41 policemen and two soldiers and 41 civilians were also killed in the fighting and bombing that was carried out by military rebels on the headquarters of sovereignty and security, and pointed to the more than 1,500 rebels were arrested.
Berkenaan dengan hasil dari korban upaya kudeta, Dundar mengatakan bahwa 104 revolusioner tewas dalam bentrokan, juga tewas 41 polisi dan dua tentara dan 41 warga sipil dalam pertempuran dan pemboman yang dilakukan oleh pemberontak militer di markas kedaulatan dan keamanan, dan menunjuk ke lebih dari 1.500 pemberontak ditangkap.
وذكر الجنرال التركي أن القيادة العسكرية العليا رفضت منذ البداية الانقلاب, وقال إن القوات المسلحة وقوات الأمن الداخلية والحكومة وجميع أطياف الشعب أعطوا درسا لمن حاول الانقلاب.
The Turkish general said that the military high command rejected the coup from the outset, and said that the armed forces and internal security forces, the government and all spectrums of people gave a lesson to those who attempted the coup.
Jenderal Turki itu mengatakan bahwa komando tinggi militer menolak kudeta dari awal, dan mengatakan bahwa angkatan bersenjata dan pasukan keamanan internal, pemerintah dan semua spektrum dari masyarakat memberi pelajaran kepada mereka yang berusaha kudeta.
وأثنى دوندار على ما وصفه بالتضامن التاريخي بين المسؤولين السياسيين والشعب, وتوجه بالشكر لكافة أطياف الشعب لدورها في إحباط المحاولة الانقلابية, قائلا إن الأتراك أثبتوا أن إرادة الشعب هي العليا وإن من قاموا بهذه المحاولة الفاشلة سينالون جزاءهم العادل.
Dundar praised what he called the historical solidarity between the political leaders and the people, and thanked for all spectra of the people for its role in thwarting a coup attempt, saying that the Turks have demonstrated that the will of the people is supreme and that the perpetrators of this failed attempt will receive their just punishment.

يذكر أنه تم فجر اليوم الإعلان عن تعيين أوميت دوندار رئيسا لهيئة الأركان بالوكالة بسبب انقطاع الاتصال مع رئيس الأركان الذي كان محتجزا في مقر قيادة الأركان في العاصمة أنقرة.
He states that he was at dawn today to announce the appointment Umit Dundar as acting chief of staff because of no contact with the Chief of Staff, who was being held in the General Staff headquarters in the capital Ankara.
Ia menyatakan bahwa ia saat fajar hari ini akan mengumumkan pengangkatan Umit Dundar sebagai plt kepala staf karena tiadanya kontak dengan Kepala Staf, yang ditahan di markas Staf Umum di Ankara.
وقال مراسل الجزيرة المعتز بالله حسن إن الجيش الأول التركي الذي يقوده دوندار كان محور الانقلابات العسكرية التي شهدتها تركيا, وذلك بالنظر إلى قوة تسليحه.
The Al-Jazeera correspondent Moataz Bellah Hassan said that Turkey’s first army, led by Dundar was the focus of military coups witnessed by Turkey, given the strength of army.
