Facebook wins $873 million judgment against Canadian spammer

Facebook added nearly $1 billion to its imaginary coffers Friday when a federal judge ordered a spammer to pay the social networking company $837 million in damages, the largest fine ever issued under the US CAN-SPAM Act.
