New ‘designer babies’ make life a commodity
Imagine if you could choose your baby the same way you pick out a new outfit from a catalogue. Perhaps some blue eyes, a bit of curly hair, and why not make her tall, lean and smart? One fertility doctor now says that he may be able to deliver.
Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg has already helped thousands of couples choose their child’s gender at his fertility institutes in Manhattan and Los Angeles. Within six months, he says, the clinic will offer a new service: allowing couples to select the physical traits of their babies.

i think it must be consider again.we trying to have a child/baby with GOD bless.i am agree with Andika comment,its like we playing GOD.
I’m not sure about this one. I think we have to considere it first based on our religion. It could be a good news, or a bad one.
Maybe we should recommending it to Indonesian Ulama Forum to be discuss.
I think they are so excessive. They are compare human/baby/life and regard as thing/commodity. I think they are going to insane and moving far to much.
