Going against the principle of network neutrality , Google has approached key internet carriers with a proposal to create a fast lane for its own content, reports WSJ .
That’s said, CNNMoney think Google’s caching plan still is considered neutral:
Google Inc.’s (GOOG) effort to install servers at cable and telecommunications companies to speed up delivery of the search giant’s content doesn’t contradict its position that all Web traffic should be treated equally by Internet service providers, industry insiders and observers said.
