How to Clear Internet Browser Cache

Periodically we need to clear / delete the cache in our internet browser. It’s also a must if you just open your email or login to your website or blog in a public internet cafe. Here’s how to do it.

I. For Internet Explorer do the followings:

  • Click Tools -> Options
  • Delete -> you have options to (a) Delete All; or (b) Delete manually (i) Temporary Internet Files (ii) Cookies (iii) History (iv) Form Data (v) Password.
  • Clik Close -> Ok.

II. For Firefox:

  • Click Tools -> Clear Private Data
  • In the “Clear the Following Items Now” -> Check whatever items you want to delete from your firefox browser including (i) Browsing History (ii) Cache (iii) Cookies (iv) Offline Website Data (v) Saved Password (vi) Authenticated Sessions.
  • Click “Clear Private Data Now”. Done.
