Indonesia Top Three Worst Bureaucracy in Asia

Political and Economic Risk Consultancy (PERC) conducted a survey on which the worst and the best bureaucracy in Asia’s 12 countries being reviewed, ranked and scored. It has interviewed 1,373 middle and senior expatriate executives who took part in the survey carried out earlier this year 2010.

The highest score is the worst. The lower the score the better.

Here’s the List

Countries | Score

  1. India 9.41,
  2. Indonesia 8.59
  3. The Philippines 8.37
  4. Vietnam 8.13
  5. China 7.93
  6. Malaysia 6.97
  7. Taiwan 6.60
  8. Japan 6.57
  9. South Korea 6.13
  10. Thailand 5.53
  11. Singapore 2.53
  12. Hong Kong 3.49

So, Indonesia at the Top Three as the Worst Bureaucracy in Asia. We second only two India as the champion of worst bureaucrats.

One reason why Indonesia hardly improves the corrupt practices is the powerless president who has failed the people and the nation for not being firm in dealing with corrupt bureaucrats and politicians, said PERC.
