Israel offers short respite from strikes
By “respite” means Israel reduce the excessive bombing from 24 hours a day into 21 hours a day:
Israel will halt its bombardment of Gaza for three hours every day to allow residents of the Hamas-ruled Palestinian territory to obtain much-needed supplies, a military spokesman said Wednesday.

24 hour or 21 hour a day, or 3 hour halt, those aren’t guarantee that the civilian wouldn’t killed too. Jewish !
