No, it won’t, says scientists. Yes, doomsday or kiamat in Bahasa Indonesia will take place in year 2012, says Roland Emmerich, the director of movie “2012″. One thing for sure, Emmerich must be the happiest to see his movie goes buzzy in the box office. Before commenting, it’s better to read this good essay from NYT:
The doomsday buzz reached a high point with the release of the new movie “2012,” directed by Roland Emmerich, who previously inflicted misery on the Earth from aliens and glaciers in “Independence Day” and “The Day After Tomorrow.”
In the movie, an alignment between the Sun and the center of the galaxy on Dec. 21, 2012, causes the Sun to go berserk with mighty storms on its surface that pour out huge numbers of the elusive subatomic particles known as neutrinos. Somehow the neutrinos transmute into other particles and heat up the Earth’s core. The Earth’s crust loses its moorings and begins to weaken and slide around. Los Angeles falls into the ocean; Yellowstone blows up, showering the continent with black ash. Tidal waves wash over the Himalayas, where the governments of the planet have secretly built a fleet of arks in which a select 400,000 people can ride out the storm.

I have a feeling doomsday is tomorrow, so we can stop talking about it. What do u think about that, folks? Get sick of the endless buzz of doomsday, just think of how we live every second of ur life, not how our life will end. How and when this world will end is none of humans’ businesses, it’s God’s!

katanya doomsday 2025, sekarang maju jadi 2012.bener enggaknya 2012 kiamat kan gak ada yang tau. fokus di tobat aja deh

Kiamat 2012 itu khan hanya rekayasa orang barat saja.
kaum Maya saja menolak kalo itu sebuah akhir dari kehidupan …itu khan cuman akhir dari kalender maya … kaum maya hanya menandai dengan perubahan pada kondisi alam … itu bukan berarti kiamat bukan …
jadi kalo mau nonton film 2012 ya tonton aja sebagai hiburan dan jangan di andai-andai .. kiamat itu rahasia Illahi, manuasia hanya bisa mempersiapkan diri aja …

Nonton film sih gak masalah. Yang berbahaya kalau kita jadi khawatir dan gelisah dengan akhir 2012. lebih parah kalau kita meyakininya. Kiamat pasti datang tapi waktunya hanya Allah yang tahu.
