How many maximum visitors allowed per day in a shared hosting package for Hostgator, Bluehost and Hostmonster
I am using a Hostgator Baby shared hosting package for this blog. It always crosses my mind about how much maximum visitor Hostagor Baby can tolerate so that I can be prepared to upgrade to higher package when the time comes.
I search around the web for days on this matter, and I finally found LeVoltz post which is nice and enlightening.
He doesn’t specify the maximum number of visitors per day for Hostgator Baby plan, but he used to experience 26 thousands pageviews (in less than 24 hours)is ok, that’s when he has not not installed caching plugins. Fortunately, his blog survived from Hostgator’s suspension! His CPU usage at the time lied in 11 – 19% range. Hostgator’s maximum CPU usage is 25%.
So, let’s say, your blog using Hostgator Baby package and WordPress as your blogging platform with caching plugins properly intalled, It’s save to say, that you do not need to upgrade to a higher level of Hostagor hosting package unless you have a constant pageviews of more than 25,000 a day. Below that level of visitors, Hostgator Baby package should make you sleep well without worrying of hosting suspension nightmare

No, it’s not bandwith usage. hostgator gives unlimited bandwith for its shared hosting package. it’s CPU usage wich is 25%. CPU is just like PC usage.

Hostgator is the best kalo gitu. Saya sndiri blum pernah pakai share hosting. Selama ini masih bertahan pakai gratisan wp.com. Hebatnya blog saya pernah dalam satu hari, tepatnya 17 desember 2009 mendapatkan pageview 104.729 pv. Besoknya mendapatkan 54ribuan. Untungnya blog tidak disuspend sama sekali. Mungkin itulah pengalaman paling menyenangkan selama pakai blog wordpress.com
