New Islamic Year Muharram 1430

Not many Muslim know that today is a new Islamic Calendar year. Today is 1 Muharram 1430 Hijriyah. That’s because we don’t accustom to celebrate it. We officially celebrate only two Eids, Idul Fitri and Idul Adha. Two things that all Muslims around the world have in common to celebrate. Other than that there are some differences as to which Islamic day we should celebrate.

Regardless, I’d like to wish a “Happy New Islamic Year Muharram 1430 H.” to all Muslim brothers and sisters around the world.

kenapa yah tahun baru hijriyah (qomariyah) kurang begitu diminati untuk dirayakan, jika dibandingkan dengan tahun baru masehi (syamsiyah)?
