Roger Federer Loses to Rafael Nadal in Aussie Open 2009 Final
That’s right. From the title I made you know it, I expected and hoped it’d be Roger Federer’s win al the way. Many people, including majority of spectators in Rod Laver just expected the same for more than reasons. But alas, Roger just could’nt make it. And many, including me, are disappointed. Not to say Roger himself who were sobbing while saying this:
In the first moment you’re disappointed, you’re shocked, you’re sad, then all of a sudden it overwhelms you,” Federer finally said, referring to his 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-2 loss to Nadal in a momentum-swinging, 4-hour, 22-minute title match Sunday night.
“The problem is you can’t go in the locker room and just take it easy and take a cold shower. You’re stuck out there. It’s the worst feeling. … It’s rough.
But as graceful loser, he didn’t forget to congratulate his opponent:
You deserved it. You played a fantastic final
Life goes on. Just like any other sad days it’ll dissipate by time and wishing someday sooner or later we’ll reach the landmark we transpire to. What’s a meaningless life without a hope. What a wasted time of too much dependency on something or someone.
Famos and bravo for Rafael Nadal who has shown better performance and stronger both mentally and physically.
