It’s been quite a while that I wanted to have gravatars (aka Avatars) appeared in this blog’s Brian Threaded comments without using any plugins. Just a simple code. It should be possible considering WordPress 2.5+ and 2.6 are gravatars built-in.  It took times to find a good lead since many tutorials are mostly focused on a non-Brian-threaded-comment. I’m also reluctant to use gravatar plugins as it’s a bandwith consuming.
