First, this blog feedburner’s feeds URL address is http://feeds.feedburner.com/fatihsyuhud.

Second, after Feedburner.com being acquired by Google, the URL address changed into http://feedproxy.google.com/fatihsyuhud

Third, the second address seems ugly, Google think so I guess, so now comes the third shift of URL change: http://feeds2.feedburner.com/fatihsyuhud.

The change to all my feedburner feed comes few hours ago with email from Google notifying this:

You may now view and manage all of your feeds and their settings by visiting this address: http://feedburner.google.com

You will no longer be able to sign in to feedburner.com, but that’s okay: from now on, there is no reason to do so. Also, your old FeedBurner feeds, found at feeds.feedburner.com, will automatically redirect traffic to their new addresses on the feeds2.feedburner.com domain. You may still want to update any links or buttons on your website to use the new feeds2.feedburner.com address.

All of your feeds have been moved into this new account, and your stats have been loaded up. If you see “0″ for the most recent full day, don’t panic! It may take up to a week for a feed’s full dose of stats to appear in your new account.

Getting Started with AdSense for feeds

To set up AdSense for feeds, you now need to visit AdSense at http://www.google.com/adsense and choose the AdSense for feeds option under Manage Ads > Get Ads. (Ads won’t appear in your feeds unless you set up new ad units for them there.) You may also visit the AdSense for feeds section of the Google AdSense Help Center.

A Note for Publishers Who Use Email Subscriptions

feedburner.google.com has a more robust email subscription management feature; you may now search your entire subscriber base to locate subscribers and view their status, regardless of whether you have 100 or 100,000 of them. Visit Publicize > Email Subscriptions > Subscription Management to try it out.

So, if you got email from Google Feedburner like the one above, just go straight over to change your feedburner feed new url address. So should I.

The news that many bloggers or AdSense publishers to be precise are waiting for has arrived: now you can put AdSense in your feeds. What the system? Does AdSense apply PPC type of ads? Our salesforce will sell cost-per-impression (CPM) ads directly [...]

The news that many bloggers or AdSense publishers to be precise are waiting for has arrived: now you can put AdSense in your feeds. What the system? Does AdSense apply PPC type of ads?

Our salesforce will sell cost-per-impression (CPM) ads directly to the largest advertisers, while the rest of your inventory will be filled with contextually targeted cost-per-click (CPC) and CPM ads.

Thing that publisher needs to understand is that the AdSense insertion into feeds is done through Feedburner.com. So, for those who are not using Feedburner yet better off to register their feeds now.

I have been a long time publisher of Feedburner Ads Networks (FAN). It’s worked great before Feedburner acquired by Google after which advertisers slow down quite dramatically. May be the FAN sales team relaxed too much. With this announcement, we can expect another hope to accrue revenue from feeds.

If you have already integrated your feed into feedburner the next step is migrating it into google account:

Migrating to a Google Account in order to use AdSense for feeds
Google will soon provide a self-service process to migrate from an account on the original FeedBurner website to a Google Account. We have temporarily paused processing of new manual migration requests; we are working doggedly through the initial queue of requests and will re-open account migration services as soon as the first batch is completed.

(If you have already submitted a migration request, please look for an email response from Google once your migration has completed).

[Update 1 September 2008] Today, when I wanted to login to feedburner.com, it’s redirected to google.com. And also the revenue from feeds has begun. The report can be seen in the AdSense account below AdSense for Content and AdSense for Search.
