Indonesia submits bid to host football World Cup? Good try.
Indonesia has submitted its bid to host the 2018 or 2022 World Cup, a bid official said Saturday.
The deadline for submissions of final bids is March 16, and Nugraha Besoes, secretary general of the All Indonesia Football Association, confirmed the nation’s bid was sent on Tuesday to FIFA, soccer’s governing body.
Indonesia is among nine countries that signaled their intention to bid in February, and is considered an outsider among that group.

Indonesia’s Chris John retained his World Boxing Association featherweight title and remained undefeated by fighting to a draw with US hometown hero Rocky Juarez.
All three judges scored the fight 114-114 after all three gave Juarez the 11th and 12th rounds, calling it a draw to leave John unbeaten with the crown after his American debut and Juarez still winless in world title bouts.
I call this as bridge boxing, instead of bridge blogging. I mean Chris has done something big to introduce Indonesia to the world through his boxing activity.
Euro 2008 symbolizes the old adage that the best team with most consistent performance will be on top. There are times when luck “rules” as it happens with Germany in its previous sudden-death matches. But luck never comes everyday and we have to feel for Germany as the luck is no longer there when they need it most. I agree with Nick Webster of Foxsport when he said “Beauty meets the Beast in the Euro 2008 final.”
