Thomas Cup 2010: Indonesia reaches final
Indonesia beats Japan in semi final to reach Thomas Cup final
Indonesia beat Japan 3-1 on Friday to reach the final of the Thomas Cup badminton championship for the first time since 2002.
Indonesia’s top shuttler Taufik Hidayat scored the first point after defeating Kenichi Tago 21-9, 21-14 in 37 minutes at Kuala Lumpur’s Putra Stadium. Doubles pair Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan then beat Japan’s Kenichi Hayakawa and Kenta Kazuno 21-9, 21-11 in just 29 minutes.
China and Malaysia will play in the other semifinals match later Friday.
Most people will bet for China to be in the final along with Indonesia. But Malaysia with the advantage as a host cannot be overlooked. I wish Malaysia win the semis. Indonesia-Malaysia final would be great.
The men team is the only hope after the women, Uber Cup team, was defeated in the semi final yesterday.

Smoga Malaysa bisa menang dan ketemu ma Indonesia biar tambah seru…..Kita tunggu Big macth-y…..
Harapan saya Indonesia ketemu Malaysia pasti seru!
Buat kubu Malaysia ayo bantai Cina, kutunggu di final bersama Indonesia ku!
