Two Candidates of KPK Chairman
President SBy has announced Two Candidates of KPK Chairman to meet fit and proper test in Parliament. There are some worries within Parliaments members not to to approve both candidates for having too much an anti-graft credential. That’s why the corruption wacthdog ICW said those who refuse the two are corrupt politicans.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono officially proposed Bambang Widjojanto and Busyro Muqoddas to the parliament, as the government’s nominations for the anti-graft director post.
After a cabinet meeting today (31/8) Yudhoyono told reporters “Today I have officially proposed two nominations for the post of Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission to the House of Representatives. I believe the house will choose one of the two candidates correctly.”
With the first candidate sparked the air of alert among lawmakers for his firm anti-graft stance more than the second man did, the house fumed with immediate comments against both candidates right after their names announced by the justice department as the best two that are going to the final selection round at the house.
