Police has released the two KPK deputies, yet the ego of the ‘crocodile’ is big enough to confess the defeat saying “We have not succumbed to [public] pressure.” Yes, you did! via JP

The National Police have released suspended Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputies Bibit Samad Rianto and Chandra M. Hamzah, citing it was in the public’s interest.

National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Nanan Soekarna told kompas.com his office had decided to release the two leaders after receiving letters from their lawyers.

“We have not succumbed to pressure [to release them].

Truthfully, I don’t give this pandemonium a damn. I don’t care.I just knew that Bibit’s son is working as a policeman, too. Wow, I wonder what the son ought to do, which side he should take, his own corps or dad? were I in his shoe, I’d choose my dad over my corps. As a policeman, I can get fired, but as a son, I can’t.Blood ties people tighter than anything, even the job we like.
