What is freedom? It’s only a metaphor. Every country has their own policies on certain matters. As in this freedom of expression, European countries have different concept in religions. What’s real and what’s not. Religion is not considered essential for most people there. God is an ambiguous concept since it has no authentic evidence to be taken to the court of justice. To them, God is not a concept of mind but heart. Is there genuine proof that someone is in love or not? It could be a fake. They can’t take that to the forensic.

It would be interesting to know if De Veers broke any parliamentary rules when he made that little ‘Hate Piece’.

Thanks for this – its useful ‘ammunition’ for next time I encounter the ‘freedom of expression’ defence. :) )

There’s no “real” freedom. There’s always a limit for everything. Always.
